I am really confused with the search function in Outlook

The query which I have is when I run the outlook profile in Online Mode I am able to get more search results like from 2013. And when I run the profile in cached mode it does not shows all the emails and it only shows emails till 2014. if I run the search in OWA I am able to get the search results from 2013 year. I want Outlook search to get all the results that OWA is able to get.

I know about sync slider option caches only the emails from the month which I wanted but what is the use of "More result" at the bottom of the search? if I set my sync slider to sync only the 6 Month emails and yes it will not show the emails from 2013 to sync with outlook but when I click on More results at the bottom of the search result does it shows all the results from the server even if my sync slider is set to the 6 months?
